Privacy Policy

DRAFT: for legal review before publishing. Placeholders in [brackets] need Cameron's input.

This policy explains how the FightZone Running iPhone app ("the App") and this website handle your information. The App is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME / SOLE TRADER NAME], [ADDRESS] ("we", "us").

The short version

Information stored on your device

When you set up the App you may enter your age, fitness level, main sport, goal and injuries. The App also records your workouts (sessions, durations, speeds, distances, benchmark results and effort ratings). This information stays in the App's local storage on your iPhone. We cannot see it. Deleting the App deletes it. Some of it, such as injury information, may relate to your health, and it is used only to tailor workouts on your device.

Purchases

If the App offers paid features, payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. We may use a subscription management service ([e.g. RevenueCat]) that receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase status in order to unlock features. We never receive your card details.

Music and audio

The App plays alongside your own music app and lowers its volume while the coach speaks. It doesn't access your music library or listening history.

Website and waitlist

If you join our waitlist, we store your email address with Formspree (our form provider) and use it only to tell you about the App's launch and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time. [Describe any website analytics or cookies, or state that none are used.]

Diagnostics

[If crash reporting or analytics are added, describe them here. Otherwise: The App doesn't collect analytics. Apple may share anonymous crash reports with us if you've opted in in your iPhone settings.]

Children

The App isn't intended for children under [13/16].

Your rights

Under UK GDPR and similar laws you can ask to access, correct or delete any personal data we hold about you (in practice, only your waitlist email). Contact us at hello@fightzonerunning.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

We'll update this page if our practices change, and show the date of the latest version at the top.
