Fighter Runs
FightZone Running is an iOS treadmill training app for combat-sport athletes. It turns any treadmill into fight-camp conditioning, with coach-voiced workouts built on real round lengths for MMA, boxing, BJJ and kickboxing, speed and incline set from your own base pace, and four levels from Novice to Championship Fighter. Coming soon to the App Store for iPhone. Pricing to be confirmed.
What are Fighter Runs?
Fighter Runs are FightZone Running's library of 51 original treadmill workouts themed on fighting styles and fight-week moments. 45 are scaled to all four levels and 6 are Novice-only walk/jog runs, giving 186 level versions in total. Every run has a 3-minute warm-up, a 3-minute cool-down, a finisher, and an exact speed and incline for every segment, worked out from your own base pace.
How a run scales by level
| Level | Rest length | Designed incline limit (run / walk) | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Novice | ×1.5 | 5% run / 8% walk | No hard or sprint work |
| Gym Show Fighter | ×1.25 | 7% / 12% | Sprints introduced gradually |
| Amateur Fighter | ×1 | 10% / 15% | Optional step-off rests |
| Championship Fighter | ×0.85 | 12% / 15% | Shortest rests, steepest hills |
The app currently caps incline at 8% until the in-app health check is complete, asks how steep your treadmill goes, and caps anyone reporting Achilles or calf problems at 5%.
